The Lord’s Resurrection,
Ascension & Second Coming

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. - Philippians 3:20-21

  2. The Purpose

    • To believe that the Lord has resurrected is a very important truth in our belief. This resurrection is not only a spiritual representation but rather He has indeed been raised from the dead (i.e. His physical body had been resurrected) and thus the grave was empty. Because the Lord lives today, He can live in the hearts of those who have received Him and be with them in their daily lives. Therefore, when we believe in Jesus, we are not believing in some doctrines only but rather living with a real Person.

Christ’s Second Coming

This lesson reminds us that the Lord has not only died for us, but He has also resurrected for us and He is living in us and with us today. Some people feel that the Lord is very far and unfamiliar to them, it is because they have not realized the secret of living with the Lord.

Why is it so important that we know the Lord has resurrected?

How does knowing the Lord’s coming back change the way you live your life?
